02 — The five-step model

STEP 02
Pretrial release motion
Third-party custody under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 15A-534(a)(3). Vanguard Integrated Management is the named custodian; the court retains supervision; the attorney files the motion. This supports a court-approved resolution designed to avoid or reduce the lifelong consequences of a felony conviction wherever legally available.
STEP 03
24-month privately operated reintegration program
Stabilization followed by reintegration. 24/7 AI mentor paired with certified peer support specialists. Substance-abuse treatment, mental-health care, housing, transportation, education, and workforce placement — coordinated in one operating envelope.
STEP 04
Graduation
The participant returns to the same court that ordered their release — as evidence that the model works. Monthly compliance reporting throughout the program means the court has been continuously informed before this moment arrives.
STEP 05
Lifelong AI aftercare
The participant keeps the AI mentor permanently, free. Goal tracking, relapse-warning detection, crisis routing, and continuity of identity beyond the program. We do not graduate and disappear.
